I wanted a cermaic watch for a long time, and I was shopping on Amazon one day and saw some really great deals on watches, and decided to go for it. I narrowed it down between this watch and the Michael Kors MK5161. I actually got both of them, and had them each on my wrist for a few days before I made my decision, and I decided on the Bulova. This watch has a little bigger face than the MK and is a little heavier, but worth it. After doing research online, I found out that ceramic watches chip easily, and I am very hard on my watches. The Bulova one has stainless steel in addition to the ceramic, which makes it more sturdy, and less likely to chip. I love this watch so much, I'm thinking about getting the one in black for Winter, too! I've had so many compliments on it, it's not like any watch I've seen.

I was looking for a large partly white ceramic watch with femininity but no tackiness. This is it. The stones are subtle but catch the light and provide a feminine grace without being gaudy. I have had problems with band/face set stones falling out in the past, however this watch won't present that problem as the stones are behind the glass. The stainless steel outer band will protect the comparatively fragile ceramic, and the ceramic is white, not ivory as I have seen in a few others. It looks and feels like a quality timepiece. I can't stop staring at my wrist!
I ordered this watch and received it one business day later in Australia, without paying for extra shipping speed. I also only paid $324 AUD, Inc shipping, where Australian jewellers were selling this exact watch for $800 AUD.
I couldn't be more pleased with this watch and my purchase.

This watch was absolutely gorgeous. The only issue I had was with the band. It was too large for my wrist so I knew I'd have to get several links taken out in order for my wife to wear it. I took it to a well known jewelry store to get the links taken out and I noticed that they sold Bulova watches. I took a peek at the price tag on the exact same watch and what do ya know, it was priced at over two times what I had paid on Amazon. I was pleased to see that I had made the right choice. Oh, and my wife.....very happy. She was so happy when she opened up that box and saw that watch. She constantly gets compliments on it. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone. It's well worth the money.
