When I received this watch my initial impression was that it was excessively huge for a woman. It seemed better designed for a man's wrist. However, I've come to appreciate this watch as a piece to add a bit of pizazz to a relatively simple outfit. While it can command positive attention in the right circumstances, I wouldn't consider it suitable as an everyday watch.What I found lacking about the watch: 1) The watch is very difficult to have sized. It took me seven hours over the course of several days to get this thing sized. I went to three jewelers that each sold a wide assortment of watches and was told by each that they lacked the tool to size the watch. I was told to take it back to my Invicta retailer. Invicta's site lacks a retailer listing so I went to google and searched for "invicta+retailer" and came across a forum where people were trying to find retailers to get their watch sized. I ended up at J.C. Penney and they sized the watch. 2)... I am posting a photo that illustrates my comparison with a similar looking watch, a Dolce and Gabanna that was many times the price. As you can see, they have a similar look. In person, with the exception of the snooty D&G label, these watches are similar in quality. My D&G has more features, but I want to make the point that this is similar quality-wise. This watch is heavy without being clunky. It feels luxurious on the wrist. It is missing a star because the jacked up 'retail' price is pretty inflated. Under two hundred, it's a good value. Yes, it's big. But after a few days of wearing it (after having it sized by a jeweler for $5) this watch is so comfortable I don't notice it on my wrist. I prefer to have the links removed by a jeweler, because if they mess up and break it, it's their responsibility to fix it!The watch is chunky and bold - and that's why I love it. I have an average size wrist (normally I wear bracelets 7" long) and I had the jewelry store remove 3 links from each side and it now fits comfortably, but not tight. The deployment clasp is secure yet easy to open by grasping it on both sides of the band, and pulling up. The watch face is about the size of a silver dollar with gold-tone trim on the bezel, stem, hands and numbers. The gold-tone is just the right shade - not too yellow or brassy looking.
